About me
Dr. Chun Yuan is currently an Associate Professor in the Graduate school at Shen Zhen, Tsinghua University.He also holds a post in "Tsinghua-CUHK Joint research center on media science, technology and system" as executive vice director.
He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He once worked at the INRIA-Rocquencourt, Paris, France, as a Post-doc research fellow from 2003 to 2004. In 2002, he worked at Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing, China, as an intern.
His research interests include computer vision, machine learning and multimedia technologies. He has published more than 130 papers in high-level academic journals and conferences, including TIP, TCSVT, TMM, T-Cybernetics, CVPR, NIPS,AAAI, IJCAI and so on.He serves on several top-level artificial intelligence and computer vision conferences, such as ACM MM, AAAI, IJCAI, ICME, etc.There are more than 10 postgraduates under the guide of Doctor Yuan. His team ranked second on Pascal VOC2012 Image Semantic Segmentation Competition, and ranked first on MOT2015 Video Multi-objects Track Competition.
